Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) members aid in the screening of later-stage startup applicants for the SCEIN program by participating (when possible) in Entrepreneur Intake Sessions or remotely volunteering feedback and services (ex. pilot projects, referrals) to accepted companies in order to support their success. The Committee is composed of a diverse group of professionals from the private, public, and academic sectors who have domain expertise across the broad scope of technologies spanning the evolving energy space. By expressing an interest in joining the TAC, you are signing up to receive notifications about upcoming Entrepreneur Intake Sessions featuring presentations from later-stage SCEIN startup applicants. This is a volunteer position with no monetary compensation. In filling out this form, you may also indicate your interest in becoming a mentor for SCEIN startups. Mentors support Cleantech San Diego staff in ensuring smooth operation of the program by checking in with assigned companies on a monthly basis to assess how program service delivery is going, keep track of progress on critical business milestones, and offer tailored guidance to mentees.
