This event was an informative and interactive event on learning how to get involved in creating sustainable and affordable housing in our communities. Attendees learned about the challenges and opportunities in developing new sustainable housing projects from a diverse panel of experts and then joined conversations in small groups focused on regional issues. The event rounded out with one-on-one networking between attendees.
Co-creating EPIC Clean Energy Research Investments with California's Communities
This event enabled representatives from under-resourced communities to contribute their comments and ideas on the clean energy future they're seeking, the specific challenges facing communities in realizing these outcomes, and the types of innovative technology demonstration project partnerships that interest them.
Grant Development Workshop
This event provided a framework for attendees representing community-based organizations, cities, research organizations, and startups to target and source opportunities and pre-develop winning applications for upcoming State and Federal government grants. Attendees learned about the funding landscape and grant development insight from a diverse panel of experts and then joined conversations in moderated small groups on grant development.
Empowering Sustainable, Equitable Places
This event taught attendees about upcoming place-based initiatives, how to start and sustain cleantech partnerships, and how to connect with potential partners for current projects and future funding opportunities.
