Faraday Microgrids is a licensed general contracting company
(CSLB# 104747) and David Bliss is the Registered Managing Owner. The team built the
first renewable energy microgrid to interconnect to an essential power branch of a
California hospital at the Kaiser Permanente facility in Richmond and is currently building
both the largest healthcare microgrid in the Western United States, but also the first
designed to support all emergency power during Grid outages at the Kaiser Permanente
facility in Ontario, California. The team was also the selectee to audit EVGo® electric
vehicle supply equipment installations for the California Public Utilities Commission and
was the first to build and operate a DC fast charger on the island of Hawaii.
We would be delighted to join development teams for the purposes of microgrid,
clean vehicle transportation, and hydrogen project execution.
As a California-based company, and with over $25MM in grant dollar funding awarded for clean energy projects, and over $25MM in additional grant funding currently under consideration, Faraday is also a leader in creative funding mechanisms for target projects. Moreover, our expertise at monetizing tax benefits and other incentives can improve project feasibility and performance for all parties.
Finally, Faraday has pioneered new controls technology, helped to re-write State and National codes for clean energy systems, and has demonstrated success in some of the most regulated environments. We specialize in converting challenging projects into reality with the best possible results for all stakeholders.
