HCS is developing the world's first water piston engine which runs on the power of drag from slow flowing water. By harvesting drag force, we are able to create mechanical work, the sum of both potential and kinetic energy from flows currently considered out of reach for today's hydro-kinetic technologies. Our engine can be used to drive generators for clean electricity and green hydrogen, and/or pumps for hydraulic pressure, or to pump water for agriculture. Our light weight sails require minimal infrastructure which dramatically reduces cost, simplifies installation, and offers unlimited up-scaling. Currently, we are testing several prototypes to prepare for a pilot demonstration. Our goal is to add a virtually untapped resource to the global clean energy portfolio. And we are looking for interested partners.
