The company "Sustainable Green Power Technologies" had been established in 2017. We have been engaged in discovering new technologies for highly cost effective capture of CO2 and the associated toxic components and in discovering new technologies for generation of clean energy. So far our efforts have culminated into the Patent award by USPTO on the invention " Highly cost effective technology for capture of industrial emission without reagents for clean energy and clean environment applications". With this new technology it would be possible to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) and the associated toxic components from the flue gas of power plants at a cost -$14 to +$31 per ton depending on CO2 concentrations in the flue gas. The higher cost is for very low concentration of CO2 (2.5% or less). The -ve cost is for higher concentration (9% or higher). CO2 is captured in the form of liquefied CO2 which can be stored either in underground storage or used industrially as it is very pure (99.99% or higher). This technology is superior to the current state-of-the-art technologies for carbon capture in terms of cost and it does not produce any secondary emission. Our technology requires only a fixed amount of water that is reusable. This novel patented technology has the potential to generate clean energy from either coal or natural gas or diesel etc. with zero emission and it would be profitable for industries to employ as the captured products will have growing industrial demands.
We are also researching on a new more advanced chemicals free second technology that would cut down the cost of capture by 60%. This is not patented yet.
With our first emission capture technology we are planning to embark on an engineering scale demonstration and prototyping of our above technology. This project would be carried out at the Fort Worth Campus of the University of Texas at Arlington. The site can be viewed at :https://www.empowerinnovation.net/en/custom/organization/13730/submit/1
We are looking forward to have partnership with companies who can support this effort. We know that because of the novelties and high cost-effectiveness our technology can have global demand once it is successfully demonstrated and prototyped. So, we are also looking for companies who will partner with us in the global reach of our technology.
