Optimized Thermal Systems, Inc. (OTS) is an engineering consulting company focusing on providing research and development services. Work is largely centered around HVAC, refrigeration and automotive systems and includes vapor compression system design, component design and selection, and refrigerant analysis, among other tasks. In addition to providing modeling and analysis support, OTS has a physical laboratory in Beltsville, MD to build and test new system designs and prototype units. OTS further offers software for the design and simulation of vapor compression systems and air-to-refrigerant heat exchangers.
