Rockpoint Gas Storage has been in operation for over 20 years and is the largest independent owner and operator of natural gas storage in North America with eight strategically located assets with more than 300 Bcf of working gas capacity in key producing and consuming regions.
Rockpoint Gas Storage is owned by Brookfield Infrastructure Fund II and Brookfield Americas Infrastructure Fund, both of which are managed by Brookfield Asset Management (Brookfield). Brookfield is a leading alternative asset manager with over $575 billion in long-life, high-quality assets and businesses in more than 30 countries around the world. Rockpoint manages and operates Brookfield’s natural gas storage asset portfolio.
In Alberta, Rockpoint owns and operates the AECO HubTM, comprised of the Suffield and Countess facilities (154 Bcf) and owns and operates the Warwick facility (21 Bcf). In California, we own and operate the Wild Goose facility (75 Bcf) and the Lodi facility, comprised of the Lodi and Kirby Hills facilities (31 Bcf). In Oklahoma, we own and operate the Salt Plains facility (13 Bcf) and in Texas, we own 49% of the Tres Palacios facility.
