Southern California Edison is one of the nation’s largest electric utilities and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency. With headquarters in Rosemead, Calif., SCE serves approximately 15 million people in a 50,000-square-mile area of central, coastal and southern California. SCE has provided electric service in the region for 135 years and is a subsidiary of Edison International.
SCE actively pursues and collaborates on various initiatives related to advancing a clean energy future for California including developing integrated pilot and EPIC demonstration projects, developing critical grid capabilities, forming industry partnerships to resolve critical problems, such as wildfire mitigation and prevention, and identifying innovative solutions.
Additionally, SCE directly supports the research community and industry innovators by providing in‐kind services, financial commitments and letters of support.
