This technology startup was created with the intention of accelerating the energy transition towards renewables, by making more efficient the operation of solar photovoltaic plants. Inti-Tech has developed an electro-mechanic device, that allows the company to offer a service that will change the way in which PV plants are managed.
Solar photovoltaic plants all over the world need a simple and effective solution to stop the efficiency loss caused by dirt over the surface of PV modules. Inti-Tech is a company that offers an automatic, high-frequency and eco-friendly cleaning service based on the use of a robotic device that was designed by an R&D team part of the same company. The HaaS business model consists of installing one robot per array of panels which is left permanently to clean with no human intervention. The whole plant is cleaned simultaneously in a few minutes, whenever it's needed, in order to guarantee minimum soiling rates. The clients will count with the posibility of doing 100 cleaning rounds per year for a fixed monthly rate, instead of paying big amounts 3 to 7 times per year, once the energy loss in unbearable. The benefit is an increase in the energy output (5%-15%) which means more earnings for the plant owners and an important simplification of the operation. Inti-Tech is meant to make photovoltaic energy more competitive, by making the same assets generate more energy. The service increases the value of the solar business fostering its massification.
